PRAYER THOUGHT
Seeing that the great Mystics and the insights of science confim that at the heart of Creation is interdependence, relating, sharing
We conclude... regardless of how we pray or to what or whom we pray or if prayer as pure Silence
At heart all True Prayer is this relating, this sharing
in a Communion-in-Union befitting the designation "Mystical"
All True Prayer, then, is in essence Mystical Prayer
But, yes, even this term "Mystical" is a step away from True Prayer
and, to the extent this is so, "Mystical" itself is nondescriptive of this Mystery we call True Prayer

The Inner of Self and Social Systems
When the Master Jesus speaks of the Kingdom of God, or Kingdom of Heaven - using political language -, he speaks of a Reality as real and relevant now as when he spoke of it 2000 years ago. He says This is "within" or "among" us, meaning both. This Kingdom is within and outside and among. And we cannot rightly relegate this, then, to an esoteric, inward experience only within us each. Rather, the transformation of social structures into structures of communion and justice call us to see the subtle inwardness of the Kingdom as pertaining to the subtle inwardness of social systems, for social systems, or the "among" and "outside," have an inwardness, likewise. A personalized, private religiousness or spirituality is one of the present obstacles to the political and cival implications of the message of Jesus, and the great Mystics. This privatized spirituality needs its own transformation into compassionate engagement with the outer life of social systems, so to transform the inwardness of social systems into a mentality and feeling of compassion. Why? For the inwardness of the inner of person and social systems is the same inwardness, and the condition of the inner life is the source of the action manifested either for the harm or good of all of us.
